• Strong foundation in MS SQL Server.
• Design and implement robust ETL using SSIS.
• Develop scalable and reusable Power BI solutions adhering to best practices.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI.
• Optimize data models for performance.
• Develop advanced DAX formulas and Power Query transformations.
• Understand and support existing SSRS reports; develop new reports.
• Industry knowledge of metal/manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills; explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external technical and functional teams to understand requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Re-architect downstream SQL Data Warehouse based on new source system.
• Modify existing standards and customize programs per requirement.
• Analyze issues and provide resolutions.
• Work with offshore team to define requirements and oversee work.
• Testing of application.
• Estimate effort and timelines for enhancements.
• Create/update technical specifications.
• Develop reusable code/components for future use.
• Optimize applications/modules for maximum performance and scalability.
• Follow coding standards defined by Oracle and community.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall models.
• Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Work autonomously in a high-availability manufacturing environment.
