Responsibilities

• Re-architect downstream SQL Data Warehouse based on new source system.

• Analyze issues and provide resolutions.
• Work with offshore team to define requirements and oversee work.
• Testing of application.
• Estimate effort and timelines for enhancements.
• Create/update technical specifications.
• Develop reusable code/components for future use.
• Optimize applications/modules for maximum performance and scalability.
• Follow coding standards defined by Oracle and community.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall models.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong foundation in MS SQL server
• Create complex SQL queries, view, Stored procedure etc. in SQL server.
• Design and implement robust ETL using SSIS.
• Develop scalable and reusable Power BI solutions that adhere to best practices and industry standards.
• Integrate data from various sources, including on-premises databases, cloud services, and external APIs, into Power BI.
• Optimize data models for performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Develop advanced DAX formulas and Power Query transformations to create complex calculations and data transformations.
• Understanding and support existing reports in SSRS and developing new reports.
• Domain knowledge of metal and manufacturing industry is a big plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 a year
