Job summary

Empower Pharmacy, a leading 503A/503B facility in Houston, seeks a Process Engineer II to optimize manufacturing processes and lead technology transfer across operations. The role emphasizes AI analytics, digital manufacturing, and regulatory compliance within a fast-growing, highly regulated environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process performance, reduce variability, and scale production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, or related field.
4+ years in process engineering, manufacturing science, or related area in pharma/regulated environments.
Experience with tech transfer, process validation, scale-up, troubleshooting, and CIP/continuous improvement.
Familiarity with MES, statistical software, AI-enabled analytics, and digital manufacturing.
Lean Six Sigma, CPIP, PE, or CQE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Process Development: develop and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
Technology Transfer: support transfer from development to commercial manufacturing with analytics dashboards.
Process Validation: perform validation activities to ensure readiness and regulatory compliance.
Manufacturing Support: troubleshoot issues, collaborate across functions, analyze data for improvements.
Data Analysis: monitor process trends and use AI analytics to identify optimization opportunities.
Innovation & Risk: implement solutions to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
