Job summary

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Packaging Exp. Engineer to support the JJIMSC initiatives across packaging development, testing, and lifecycle management.

You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective packaging for innovative medicines, including secondary and tertiary packaging and distribution studies. The role emphasizes collaboration with R&D, Commercial, and external sites, with focus on cGMP compliance, process transfer, and value enhancement across global packaging

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Packaging Engineering or equivalent technical/engineering discipline.
• Minimum of six (6) years in packaging, labeling, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of cGMP is required.
• Experience with secondary & tertiary packaging materials & designs.
• Project management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle packaging equipment and process transfer for PES sites.
• Provide packaging qualification and testing support for new products and launches.
• Support distribution testing, cold chain verification, and packaging studies.
• Drive cost improvement and efficiency initiatives in packaging operations.
• Collaborate with global partners to resolve technical issues in a matrix organization.
