Under the direction of the MSA Coordinator, the Middle School Athletics Head & Assistant Coach will instruct middle school athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success in their program. Coaches will strive to provide each student with the opportunity to participate in an extracurricular athletic activity. Understand and abide by all GMCC, MHSAA, and MPS policies, regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Must maintain high personal standards and adhere to and carry out the mission of the GMCC.
Work with students in outdoor playing fields, indoor and outdoor courts, gymnasiums, or other sports facilities; physical ability to lift and move sports equipment and demonstrate sports skills when necessary; may be exposed to infectious diseases and inclement weather. Maintain emotional control under stress. Hours vary and include nights, weekends, and out-of-town travel. Off site work required.
$1,373.00 - 2,000.00 for the 8-week season
