Job summary

Hopkins Public Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and student-centered Middle School Winter Dance Coach to support the Hopkins Dance Program. This role will coach middle school student-athletes during the winter season and coordinate with the High School Head Dance Coach to maintain a consistent program philosophy.

You will teach dance fundamentals, choreograph routines, and prepare dancers for performances and competitions while fostering an inclusive and supportive team culture

Qualifications

• Experience coaching middle school dancers.
• Knowledge of jazz and high kick styles is a plus.
• Ability to teach foundational skills safely for developing students.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct middle school winter dance practices and events.
• Teach fundamentals, technique, and choreography.
• Collaborate with High School Head Dance Coach to align program goals.
• Prepare dancers for performances and competitions.
