Job summary

LifeStream Behavioral Center in Leesburg, FL seeks a MA/MS Licensed Therapist to provide biopsychosocial assessments and evidence-based mental health care for at-risk youth and families. The role emphasizes individualized treatment planning, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and community advocacy within a trauma-informed framework.

The position requires FL licensure, a Master's degree in a relevant field, and a minimum of two years of professional therapeutic experience, including

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, Counselor Education, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other relevant Human Service Field required
• Licensure required as Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist valid in FL
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a therapeutic setting, preferably with mental health disorders
• Experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and in individual, group, and family therapy

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other professionals to evaluate consumers medical or physical condition and to assess needs
• Provide documentation of clinical and case management services in accordance with department standards
• Participate with the interdisciplinary team in developing and implementing clinical treatment plans for consumers
• Serve as consumer advocate for needs within the community

Job description

Job Purpose: The Youth & Family Tree provides services to at-risk youth, ages 12-24, who are experiencing substance abuse and/or generational trauma. This program extends individual trauma treatment to parents and caregivers of the child. The MA/MS Licensed Therapist will develop comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments clinically responsive to age-appropriate patient/family needs and concerns commensurate with knowledge in the substance abuse/mental health field.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other professionals to evaluate consumers medical or physical condition and to assess needs.
• Provide documentation of clinical and case management services in accordance with department standards.
• Participate with the interdisciplinary team in developing and implementing clinical treatment plans for consumers. Serve as consumer advocate for needs within the community.

Qualifications
