Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in New Haven, CT. The role covers adult and geriatric patients, mainly post-operative care, with an average census of about 24.

This night shift (12 hours) requires at least 2 years of RN experience, an active license, and BLS. You will float within scope, care for central lines and dysrhythmias, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; travel experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Active RN license required prior to start date.
• BLS certification required.
• Must-have: float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Experience with 1:5 patient ratio.
• Comfort with central line care and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Telemetry, isolation precautions, and non-invasive airway management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult and geriatric patients in MS/Telemetry.
• Post-operative care including vascular and podiatry cases.
• Manage overflow from orthopedic, ENT, and general surgeries.
• Respond to rapid response and code events.
• Telehealth management as part of care.
• Collaborate with IV teams, PT, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
• Coordinate with social and interpretation services.
• Work every other weekend; first-time travelers accepted.
