Job summary

Grace Federal Solutions is seeking a MS/Tele RN traveler in Greenville, SC. The role requires administering treatments, interpreting telemetry, coordinating care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient recovery and safety.

Expect two years’ nursing experience, EPIC charting in a teaching hospital, active SC license, and flu vaccination. Travel may include Urology and Vascular exposure; nights 3x12s with flexible weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ nursing experience required.
• Two (2) years’ experience required in MS/Tele nursing or similar.
• 1 year of EPIC charting experience required.
• Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
• Active SC nursing license required.
• Teaching Hospital experience preferred.
• 3 years’ experience within specialty required for 1st time travelers.
• Travelers will be required to complete an EKG exam.
• Traveler must have some Urology and Vascular experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments and interpret telemetry data.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.
• Perform dressing changes and wound care for patients (including wound vacs and drains).
• Work nights, 3 x 12 hr shifts (1900-0730) with every-other weekend requirements.
• Provide patient care in MS/Tele and Respiratory settings.

Role Overview:

This role involves administering treatments, interpreting telemetry data, coordinating care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.

Requirements:

• Two (2) years’ experience required.
• Neuro experience preferred not required.
• 1 year of EPIC charting experience required.
• Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Active SC license required
• Teaching Hospital experience preferred.
• 3 years’ experience within specialty required for 1st time travelers. Travelers will be required to complete an EKG exam.
• Traveler must have some Urology and Vascular experience.
• Travelers need MS/Tel comp.

Clinical Skills

• Required: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Gastrointestinal, Heparin Protocols, Work Settings: MS/Tele and Respiratory, Genitourinary/Renal, Continuous Bladder Irrigation
• Preferred: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Feeding tube care and management, PCA, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen tanks, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure

Special Procedures:

• Use Vendor Neutral Summary Notes.
• The traveler will have 5-6 med-surgical patients, non- monitor. Length of stay for our patients is 1-2 days. Must do dressing changes; provide care for patients with wound vacs and drains. Traveler must have some Urology and Vascular experience.

Schedule:

• Shift hours: Nights 3 x 12 hr. 1900-0730.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other but may vary based on need.
• Required Float as needed.
