Poly Prep seeks applicants for the position of MS Spanish Teacher, Leave Replacement for January 04, 2027 to June 11, 2027. The purpose of this role is to teach Middle School classes to grades 6 and 8 students of Spanish. The Middle School Spanish Leave Replacement Teacher is expected to aid students in their proficiency growth and prepare them for the next level of language.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Teaching:

• Teach 4 sections of middle school Spanish (two sixth-grade classes, two eighth-grade classes)
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date online gradebook, effectively and supportively communicate with students and families in a timely manner, and provide written and oral feedback on student progress
• Maintain an up-to-date Google Classroom site, including transparent assessment guidelines and rubrics
• Work with students on an individual basis, as needed

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for a Middle School advisory and DEIB group
• Demonstrate energetic commitment to professional development
• Attend and actively contribute to all-school, department, division, and team meetings
• Attend community events throughout the school year

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Spanish Education, or related disciplines

Experience: 2 years of related teaching experience in middle school Spanish

Annual Salary: $69,386 - $101,546
