Charter Schools USA is seeking a MS Permanent Substitute to support daily classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. You will follow lesson plans, supervise students, and report on the day's activities to the principal and staff.

Qualifications

Communication skills: oral, written, interpersonal, negotiating.

Responsibilities

Teaches the lessons prepared by the absent teacher and follows the daily plan.
Reviews with the principal or supervisor the schedule to be followed during the teaching day.
Reports in writing the day’s activities and provides feedback as requested by the principal.
Follows CSUSA policies and best teaching practices applicable to substitutes.
Consults with the principal before initiating any unplanned lesson or action.
