Job summary

Registered Nurse - MS/Tele at TalentBurst, Inc. in Rochester, NY. 13-week, 3x12s day shift on-site contract starting 11/02/2026. 1 year experience required; BLS/NIHSS certifications preferred. Active NY license required; no travel beyond 75 miles.

Responsibilities include dysrhythmia interpretation, rapid response use, phlebotomy, IV placement, and telemetry management with Epic charting. Salary includes stipends and base pay; patient load includes cardiac, pulmonary, pain, GI and diabetes care.

Qualifications

• Experience in MS/Telemetry nursing required.
• BLS certification required; NIHSS preferred.
• Active NY license required; no pending licenses accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide MS/Telemetry care for cardiac, pulmonary, pain, GI, infections and diabetes patients.
• Perform phlebotomy and IV placement.
• Monitor dysrhythmias, manage leads and telemetry equipment.
• Operate Lifepacks and EKG machines; utilize isolation precautions as needed.
• Coordinate with PCTs for vitals, glucose checks, and ADLs.

Job Description

Day Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week

Title: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1555 Long Pond Rd Rochester, NY 14626
Schedule: Day Shift 3*12s 36hours/week

Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted

Certifications: BLS, NIHSS

Ratios: Day/Eve 5:1 (stretch 6–7); Nights 6–7:1 (stretch 8–10 during staffing shortages)

Weekend: Every other weekend (EOW)

Call: Not required

Floating: ED boarders, stable ICU, Med/Surg and stable acute brain injury patients

Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed

Local Rule: No candidates within 75 miles

License: Active license required; pending licenses not accepted

RTO: Maximum 1 week per contract

Mandatory Skills: Phlebotomy and IV placement

Required Skills: MS/Tele, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, Rapid Response Team use, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions
