Job summary

University of New Mexico seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to join the Multiple Sclerosis/ Neuroimmunology team in the outpatient clinic. The MS division supports a robust clinical trials program and offers protected time for trial participation and research activities.

Faculty appointment with opportunities for leadership and teaching, in a full-time role within the School of Medicine's Neurology Adult division.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology required.
• Neuroimmunology fellowship training by start date expected.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Mexico.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Join MS/Neuroimmunology team and work in outpatient clinic.
• Contribute to MS/Neuroimmunology clinical care and trials.
• Engage in neuroimaging, immunology, genetics or related research.
• Participate in teaching and leadership activities.

Education

MD Degree or equivalent

Board certified/board eligible in Neurology

Completed Neuroimmunology fellowship

Eligible for Medical licensure in New Mexico
