As a MS Math Teacher, you will create and implement a flexible program and classroom environment conducive to student learning and personal growth, develop lesson plans aligned with guidelines, establish rapport with students, staff, and parents, and motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge for a solid educational foundation.

How You Will Impact Education

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

• Plan and implement instruction adhering to company philosophy, goals, and course guidelines.
• Create purposeful and effective lesson plans with engaging strategies.
• Present subject matter using real-world examples to maximize learning.
• Review student records to understand individual abilities and needs; maintain accurate records.
• Maximize each student's educational achievement through differentiated instruction.
• Use diagnostic assessments regularly to evaluate student learning.
• Assess student strengths and weaknesses, provide targeted activities, and generate progress reports.
• Refer students with suspected learning issues to support personnel.
• Assign lessons, correct student work, and review oral presentations.
• Coordinate class field trips and prepare students for state assessments.
• Stay current with subject knowledge and contribute to curriculum improvements.
• Assist in selecting instructional materials and understanding supplemental services.

Provide a Classroom Environment Conducive to Learning

• Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Maintain positive rapport, patience, and nurturing relationships.
• Ensure classroom cleanliness and display student work appropriately.
• Implement policies on student conduct and develop classroom rules.

Instructional Planning

• Develop lesson plans aligned with guidelines and goals.
• Design individual and group activities to meet objectives and student needs.
• Prepare thoroughly for classes and participate in curriculum planning.
• Incorporate diagnostic information, including IEPs, into planning.
• Protect instructional resources and facilities.

School/Community Relations

• Establish cooperative relationships and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records.
• Participate in parent and community activities and extracurriculars.

Required Qualifications And Skills

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent.
• Valid teaching certification (as applicable).

• Adherence to ethical standards and willingness to perform additional duties.
