Qualifications

• Must hold current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must hold current CPR/First aid certification.
• Must hold current AIA coaching certification.
• Demonstrate organizational skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff, student athletes, officials and media to promote a positive image of District activity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing program philosophy and strategies as directed by Head Coach.
• Promote the program within the District, community and media.
• Provide written rules/expectations to student athletes and parents, enforce consistently.
• Know and enforce school, District, AIA policies and procedures.
• Supervise student athletes in practice areas, locker rooms, buses, and away trips.
• Assist in planning organized practices with conditioning and fundamentals.
• Develop athletes' skills and integrity.
• Model respectful behavior and Pursuing Victory with Honor.
• Follow Athletic Handbook policies and procedures.
• Work with staff and booster club as a team player.
• Assist with inventory of equipment and uniforms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
