Job Title: MS Football Coach

Reports To: Athletic Director

Duration: MS Football Season

Job Purpose: To develop and direct a total middle school football program.

Responsibilities

• Implement a coaching philosophy that promotes the expectations of school athletics and activities.
• Train athletes and prepare them for interscholastic competition, developing their skills at a competitive level.
• Manage inventory, ordering, program budget, and program evaluation.
• Enforce discipline, nurture student needs, and model sportsman-like behavior at all times.
• Work within the OSAA rules and philosophy for extracurricular activities as stated in the OSAA manual.
• Work under direct supervision of the athletic director.

Qualifications

• Oregon Coaching Certification or willingness to obtain it.

• Current OSAA Coach Certification and PACE Training completed prior to first contract day.

Physical Demands

Employment Conditions
