Merryhill School is seeking a Middle School Language Arts Teacher to inspire confident readers and writers. You will design engaging lessons across reading, writing, grammar, and speaking, aligning with the curriculum and standards for middle school students.

As a Middle School Language Arts Teacher at Merryhill School, you will inspire students to become confident readers, thoughtful writers, effective communicators, and critical thinkers. You will create an engaging classroom environment where students strengthen their literacy skills, deepen their understanding of literature, and develop the ability to express ideas clearly and persuasively.
In this role, you will design and deliver meaningful instruction in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening. Through novels, short stories, nonfiction texts, writing assignments, discussions, and projects, you will help students analyze complex ideas, build academic confidence, and develop the communication skills needed for future success.
