Job summary

Uintah Middle School is seeking a Part-Time Athletic Coordinator to oversee the middle school athletics program. This voucher position requires a high school diploma and coaching experience; teaching certification may be preferred.

Responsibilities include game setup, scheduling, supervising officials, and coordinating with coaches and administration. Open to applicants ready to work cooperatively with staff, manage facilities, and participate in hiring for coaches.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful coaching experience.
• Teaching certificate may receive preference.
• Willing to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other teachers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Set up gyms and/or fields for games.
• Find clock operators.
• Arrange supervisors.
• Help Coaches with schedules.
• Arrange and pay officials.
• Communicate with Coaches.
• Communicate athlete, coach, and parent concerns with the building administration.
• Check to make sure the facilities are safe.
• Be part of hiring committees for Middle School coaches.
• Communicate and coordinate with school administration regarding athletics.
• Other duties as assigned by administration.
