Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure in Fontana, CA, is seeking an MRP Buyer to join our inventory team. You’ll manage replenishment orders, maintain data on parts and suppliers, and collaborate with production, sales, and dispatch to ensure material availability.

You will report to the Materials Manager and work with ERP/MRP tools in a fast-paced environment. We value accuracy, safety, and teamwork as core parts of daily operations.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The MRP Buyer at Jensen Infrastructure, is a key position to the success of our inventory team and overall operations. You’ll work with a dynamic and fast paced team, responsible for source selection and procurement functions directly associated with the needs of Jensen for materials, services, freight, and other items.

Reporting to our Materials Manager, you’ll primarily work with the inventory team, sales team, dispatch and operations team.

A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

• Utilizing ERP/MRP tools to identify and execute replenishment orders for purchased raw materials. Managing both incoming and outgoing distribution orders between other Jensen sites.
• Establishing and maintaining accuracy of data on all purchased parts, suppliers, and purchase orders, including, but not limited to, specifications, costing, delivery dates, lead times, and lot quantities.
• Functioning as the primary interface between external suppliers, internal suppliers, production, sales, and account for all purchasing, payables, and raw material inventory related activities. Developing and maintain cooperative, positive relationships with suppliers to optimize pricing, availability, and delivery of required products.
• Assisting with maintaining inventory levels of consumable supplies and other items as identified, counts, re-stocks and organizes safety stock of these items as needed.
