Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is hiring an on-site MRP Planner for a contract role in the United States. You will establish production schedules from forecasts, input schedules into the MRP system, and approve replenishment orders. You’ll also maintain equipment records and publish essential shop reports, ensuring inventory items stay on track.

Required: 2–3 years shop experience, 1–2 years planning/scheduling, Lotus spreadsheets and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business or completion of Production and Inventory Control course, or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of shop experience.
• 1-2 years PC planner experience and 1-2 years scheduling experience.
• Experience with Lotus or equivalent spreadsheets; proficient in MS Office and email/internet.

Responsibilities

• Establish production schedules based on forecast for major equipment or groups.
• Input schedules into MRP and approve inventory replenishment orders.

Position Type:

Required:

• Requires an associate’s degree in business or completed course in Production and Inventory Control or equivalent and/or college or technical school; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 - 3 years shop experience.
• 1 - 2 years PC planner experience.
• 1 - 2 years scheduling experience required.
• Experience with Lotus or equal type spreadsheets necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), as well as Internet software and E-mail is required.

Responsibilities:

• Primary functions included but are not limited to establishment of production scheduled based on a forecast of major equipment or groups of select items.
• Schedules reflected into MRP module as input and inventory replenishment orders approved as output.
• Other functions include maintaining major equipment records, publish shop related reports, monitor activity of critical inventory items, etc.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inputs and reviews MRP runs.
• Reviews daily shortage-takes action.
• Prepares reports on critical items.
• Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
