GTI Energy is seeking an MRO / VMI Coordinator to support maintenance, repair, and operational inventory management across the organization. This role is responsible for coordinating vendor‑managed inventory programs, monitoring stock levels, supporting supplier communication, and ensuring timely replenishment of critical materials and consumables.

This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working cross‑functionally with suppliers, maintenance, warehouse, and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities
MRO & Inventory Coordination
  • Monitor MRO inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability for operations
  • Coordinate replenishment activities with VMI suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Track inventory usage trends and support inventory optimization initiatives
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and material organization efforts
Supplier & Vendor Management
  • Maintain communication with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, and replenishment schedules
  • Support vendor‑managed inventory programs to ensure service level expectations are met
  • Coordinate supplier visits, inventory reviews, and stocking adjustments
  • Escalate supply or delivery concerns impacting operations
Reporting & Data Management
  • Maintain accurate ERP inventory and supplier data
  • Generate reports related to inventory levels, shortages, stockouts, and supplier performance
  • Support KPI reporting for inventory turns, replenishment timing, and supplier responsiveness
  • Update order tracking information and inventory records as needed
Cross‑Functional Support
  • Partner with Maintenance, Warehouse, Receiving, and Procurement teams to resolve material issues
  • Assist with onboarding new MRO suppliers and maintaining vendor documentation
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory processes and material flow
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for inventory management activities
Requirements
  • 3+ years of inventory coordination, purchasing support, warehouse, or supply chain experience
  • Strong Excel, ERP, and inventory data management skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow‑up abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing, MRO, or industrial supply environments preferred
  • Experience working with Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs preferred
  • Familiarity with inventory control processes and ERP systems preferred
