Ultimate Staffing is seeking an MRO Supervisor to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full‑time, direct hire position. The role is 100% onsite.

The MRO Supervisor is responsible for managing and optimizing all Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) activities to ensure uninterrupted support for maintenance and operational functions. This includes overseeing procurement, inventory control, and the availability of tools, spare parts, and supplies. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, maximizing efficiency, and maintaining compliance with budgets, safety standards, and organizational objectives.

Job Duties:
  • Lead and develop the MRO procurement team, establish and monitor KPIs, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Oversee daily procurement operations and resolve urgent issues such as stock shortages, delivery delays, or quality concerns.
  • Manage MRO inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and support continuous operations.
  • Implement inventory management strategies to reduce waste, improve turnover, and control costs.
  • Monitor stock levels, lead times, and reorder points for spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of MRO items, ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure timely supply and competitive pricing.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts aligned with organizational requirements.
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality standards.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to plan and prioritize resources for scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
  • Ensure availability of tools, spare parts, and consumables for maintenance activities.
  • Partner with the maintenance team to anticipate future needs and address recurring part availability issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in MRO purchasing within a maquiladora or high‑volume manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience managing overseas suppliers and knowledge of global logistics and customs processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
  • Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, data analysis).
  • PowerPoint (presentations).
  • Outlook (communication and scheduling).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Planner); Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in materials management and maintenance operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
