Job summary

Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting in Duncan, SC seeks an experienced purchasing professional to manage supplier relationships, process purchase orders and support cost-reduction initiatives. You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost targets, while developing suppliers and maintaining accurate cost data.

The role requires strong communication, negotiating skills, and a solid background in purchasing within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with purchasing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external contacts.
• Excellent organizational skills to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
• Three+ years purchasing/materials experience including supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and handle tooling/capital procurement.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure delivery, quality and cost goals.
• Develop supplier strategies, track performance and drive cost improvements.
• Support budgeting and PPV/variance analysis and MRO facility maintenance.
