Overview

Electrical Engineer – Aviation (Full‑time, Exempt, Onsite)

Barfield, a subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering, seeks a dedicated Electrical Engineer to support the Engineering Department by designing, developing, and testing electrical test equipment for aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze technical documentation and manufacturer aircraft equipment documentation.
• Design adequate test means and electrical test benches for aircraft units.
• Program test benches using Labview, Visual Basic, C or other.
• Use CAD software; evaluate design; work with mechanical engineers.
• Supervise parts procurement, assembly, and manufacturing processes.
• Perform preliminary and performance testing, analyze test data.
• Train technicians and provide support and troubleshooting.
• Provide improvement solutions and control project cost.

Required Knowledge & Experience

• Design of electrical test benches, electrical systems and components.
• Laboratory test bench programming with Labview, Visual Basic, C.
• Standard office software proficiency; CAD proficiency.
• Manufacturing of electrical test equipment and supervision of assembly.
• Degree in Electrical or Aeronautical Engineering.
