Petoskey Plastics in McKinney, TX seeks an MRO Coordinator to manage maintenance parts inventory, cycle counts, and vendor communications. You will issue parts, track repairs, and support purchasing initiatives with a focus on cost savings and documentation in Epicor.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, strong Excel skills, and excellent attendance. The role includes implementing preventive maintenance and KPI tracking.

Responsibilities

Order, track, receive, and stock inventory; close out POs within 48 hours.
Coordinate quotes, packaging, shipping, tracking, and receipt/repair parts in Epicor.
Maintain essential parts inventory and reduce costs via min/max levels.
Use Epicor to control budgeted costs, assets, and expenditures.
Obtain quotes and negotiate cost savings on purchases.
Assist Purchasing Agent with new parts in Epicor and vendor coordination.
Maintain PM schedules and support Preventive Maintenance program.

The Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) Coordinator oversees the inventory of maintenance parts, including performing cycle counts, making inventory adjustments, issuing parts, and receiving and stocking incoming items. They manage the process of sending out parts and equipment for repair or return, and track the return or credit process. They also manage and update all required records and documentation. This position includes handling purchasing tasks within the plant and assisting with corporate purchasing initiatives, all with an emphasis on cost savings. The MRO Coordinator also offers administrative support for the Preventive Maintenance program.

Responsibilities

Order, track, receive, and stock inventory. Close out PO’s for inbound parcels within 48 hours of receipt
Coordinate quotes, packaging, shipping out, tracking, and receipt/repair parts through Epicor
Maintain inventory of essential parts while reducing inventory costs through proper min/max levels
Use Epicor software to control budgeted costs, manage assets, monitor parts inventory, track expenditures and track status of open purchase orders
Obtain multiple quotes for requested parts in a timely manner and help negotiate cost savings on purchases
Work with the Purchasing Agent to requisition and set up new parts in Epicor
Work with vendors regarding defective parts and follow through return/credit process
Coordinate vendor contractors and suppliers working in or visiting the plant
Run weekly Preventive Maintenance schedules
Provide administrative support for the Preventive Maintenance program
Create PMs in Epicor, as needed
Coordinate predictive maintenance activities and maintain PM records
Assist Maintenance Manger with follow up for PM completion
Maintain and update asset specific Lock Out Tag Out procedures
Track and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) charters for the department
Coordinate removal of Hazmat material from plant, conduct environmental reporting, and maintain environmental licenses
Manage all maintenance records and documentation in paper and electronic form
Keep maintenance crib efficiently organized to enhance ease of locating and checking out parts
Assign manuals, labels and other information to parts and assets
Manage MRO vending machine system
Maintain and update SDS website
Maintain excellent standards for housekeeping and safety
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
