Job summary

OPmobility is seeking an MRO Buyer Intern in Spring Hill, TN. The role supports operations, collaborates with suppliers, and contributes to plant performance through supplied products and services.

It offers exposure to the Purchase to Pay process and supplier management in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will learn to manage commodities, lead sourcing initiatives, onboard new suppliers, and optimize MRO spend while developing leadership and communication skills in an international

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding an Associate’s, Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in purchasing, procurement, business, finance and/or supply chain.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead and close a project.
• Strong data analysis and research skills.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Supports the operations, bringing value through the suppliers and contributing to the plant performance through the supplied products and services.
• Improving the Purchase to Pay Process.
• Manage various commodities with a good understanding of the drivers and technical processes.
• Is responsible for leading sourcing projects and following and recommend the business awards in front of the sourcing committee in observation of the deontology rules and in the respect of the objectives set in terms of quality, cost and delivery.
• Manage onboarding of new suppliers.
• Manage updates to supplier profiles.
• Offering improvements within MRO spend.
