Join Our Team as an MRI / X-Ray Technologist - Full Time at Health Images

Health Images is seeking a dedicated Full-time MRI Technologist to join our Diamond Hill - Denver location. The position offers a pay range of $37.75 - $48.69 per hour, working Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm. Candidates should possess both MRI and XR Registries. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires.

Position Summary

Performs MRI procedures according to protocol and patient needs, ensuring safety and quality. Maintains the patient environment and collaborates with staff to deliver excellent care.

Essential Functions

• Interacts with patients to gather medical history and explain procedures.
• Reviews patient charts, screens for implants and allergies, and obtains prior films if needed.
• Performs high-quality scans for radiologist interpretation.
• Ensures patient care before, during, and after exams, reporting changes in condition.
• Transfers images and coordinates protocols with radiologists.
• Maintains equipment and reports issues promptly.
• Collaborates with lead technologists and management.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least two years of MRI experience preferred.
• Ability to educate patients and handle multiple computer systems efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Graduate of an accredited technologist program.
• Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification in MRI.
• State license and CPR certification as applicable.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Operates in an outpatient clinical setting with potential exposure to radiation and bodily fluids. Must be able to exert physical effort and handle equipment safely.
