Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an extraordinary Neurology Veterinary Assistant to support stable hospitalized patients and assist with outpatient diagnostics and treatments.

As an MRI Veterinary Assistant, you will perform patient intake and triage, set up and troubleshoot the MRI room, operate imaging equipment, and assist with radiographs while maintaining detailed records and client communication.

Qualifications

• Experience with veterinary imaging equipment.
• Ability to triage and intake patients.
• Accurate record-keeping and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Patient intake and triage.
• Set-up and troubleshoot MRI room and machine.
• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment (primarily MRI) and assist in capturing radiographs and other diagnostic images.
• Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement as appropriate.
• Provide clear discharge instructions to clients.
• Maintain accurate records including patient history and treatment details.
• Assist with cost estimates.
• Work with hospital staff to ensure hospitalized patients receive optimal care.
