Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our mission-driven team. Performs MR examinations, supports department operations, and ensures quality patient care across adult populations.

Position may require work at campus or access center. The staff member must be able to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles for the adult patient, assess data reflecting patient status, and identify care requirements.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification required or obtained within 1 year of hire date.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current Connecticut Radiologic Technologist license.

Responsibilities

• Exceptional patient care with the patient’s needs as priority.
• Communicate effectively with admin, colleagues, patients and family members.
• Educate patients and family members to ensure understanding of care provided.
• Operate computer-based applications and standard office software.
• Demonstrate teamwork and assist in problem solving and conflict resolution.

Posting Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an MRI Technologist to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors. Performs M.R.I. examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care. Provides direct patient care to all ages of patients, particularly focusing on the adult patient. Position may require working at either campus or access center.

The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Exceptional Patient Care: Must understand we exist for the patients and their care is the number one priority.

• Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.


• Technical Familiarity: Understanding in computer-based applications, email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.

Requirements

• Education: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Must be graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.


• Licensure: Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with MRI certification (or obtained within (1) one year of hire date), Current Connecticut License.

Pay Range: $46.80 - $62.65 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
