Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography exams, including angiography, while ensuring patient safety and image quality. The role requires knowledge of radiation protection and infection control policies, and involvement in IV contrast administration under radiologist oversight.

The position includes weekend rotation, 12-hour day shifts, and care for patients within a collaborative radiology team.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT Registry preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1 year CAT Scan technologist experience preferred.
• State licensure as Radiographer; Registry eligible candidates have 1 year from hire to provide licensure documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations, including angiography.
• Select appropriate imaging techniques and equipment.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control practices.
• Assess patient condition and administer IV contrast as needed.
• Review exams for technical accuracy and present to radiologist.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Description: Position Purpose Performs all required CAT Scan Examinations to include angiography. What you will do Function as part of a cohesive team Selects the appropriate software/hardware and equipment imaging techniques. Knowledge of radiation safety & protection along with appropriate infection control policies implemented by the department and hospital. Ability to assess patient’s condition performs intravenous injections of CT contrast and ensures patient safety through proper use of equipment. Ability to review each examination for technical accuracy, presents competed exams to radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure. Work Shift Weekend only, Day Shift 12-hour shifts 7am to 7:30 pm

Minimum Qualifications

Education: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), CT Scan Registry preferred Must be graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Experience: 1-year experience working in a CAT Scan Technologist capacity preferred.

Certification: State licensure as a Radiographer. Registry eligible candidates have one year from date of hire to provide supporting documentation that they have passed the licensure exam.

Pay Range: $43.60 - $58.25 per hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
