SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Fenton in Missouri is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate scanners, position patients, and obtain diagnostic images. The role requires completion of an MRI or Radiology Technology program with ARMRIT/ARRT credentialing within 12 months of hire and at least one year of MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of MRI or Radiology Technology program.
• ARMRIT or ARRT MRI credential within 12 months of hire.
• One year direct experience in MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients and sets technical parameters to produce cross-sectional images.
• Performs pre-screening, scheduling, and patient education for examinations.
• Enters patient data and transfers images to PACS.
• Prepares/ administers contrast media per regulations.
• Ensures high-quality image submission to PACS with correct markers.
• Checks equipment functionality and reports issues.
• Maintains clean, organized department areas.
• Maintains alertness and safety in daily work.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
