Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Radiology Manager and/or Coordinator, performs a wide variety of technical and professional duties utilizing complex imaging equipment to produce quality MRI images as requested for interpretation by the radiologist. All duties are performed according to departmental and organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating exceptional service excellence in all interactions. MRI staff may be assigned to any YNHH MRI location as needed.
Education: Graduation from an A.M.A. approved Radiologic Technology program preferred; MRI board certification required. An Associate’s degree is preferred; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience or completion of YNHH MRI training program plus MRI Board Certification.
Licensure: ARRT and CT state license preferred; MRI board certification required. CPR certification preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in routine MRI imaging, strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, organizational skills, and effective communication skills.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift at least 40 pounds to assist with patient transfers.
