Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT registered.
  • Minimum of two years experience with one year in MR.
  • Advanced certification in MR preferred.

Description

Additional $15.00 Shift Diff for Weekend Shift.

  • Provides quality care to patients receiving diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Communicates patient needs and responses through appropriate verbal and written correspondence.
  • Ensures documentation is complete and accurate regarding all aspects of patient care.
  • Responsible for proper operation of imaging and specialty equipment and stays updated on medical devices.
  • Assumes responsibility for and provides direct care for all procedures performed in this area. Prepares patients for procedures and ensures quality care during procedures.
  • Assists with patient and family education. May support research activities.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides complex technical care to meet patient needs and assists with planning multiple diagnostic procedures.
  • Acts as a resource for students and junior technologists. Completes procedures in Radiology Information System for billing.
  • Prepares billing sheets and submits as per guidelines.
  • Completes all patient care documentation required in imaging services.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and at least ARRT registered.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience with at least one (1) year in MR.
  • Advanced certification in MR preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification as per American Heart Association requirements.
