Job summary

Aptiva Health in Hebron, KY is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate high-field and open MRI equipment while delivering a comfortable imaging experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.

This full-time role requires MRI safety knowledge, anatomy understanding, and excellent communication with radiologists and staff.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • MRI Certification and ARRT Certification required.
  • Current state licensure and strong MRI knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
  • Mon-Fri schedule; no nights/weekends/holidays.
  • Paid Time Off and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare, position, and screen patients for MRI.
  • Explain procedures, answer questions, keep patients comfortable.
  • Follow MRI safety protocols and patient screening practices.
  • Review patient history and orders to ensure accurate exams.
  • Communicate with radiologists, providers, and staff.
  • Monitor MRI equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain documentation and follow safety and infection-control procedures.
  • Provide guidance and training to new technologists.
  • Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced clinical setting.
