Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to accurately interpret scanning instructions, prepare patients, and proficiently operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images. The role requires ARRT certification, MRI-specific qualifications, and BLS, with weekend scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification required.
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure required.
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech required.
• BLS certification required; ARRT MR certification preferred.
• 1 year MRI Tech experience noted as requirement.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician scanning instructions and prepare patients for MRI procedures.
• Position patients for MRI and operate MRI scanners to obtain diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• ARRT MR certification
• 1 year of MRI Tech experience
• Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• On-call requirement: No
• No overnight shifts
• Patient population includes MSK and neuro exams only, all non-contrast
• Floating is not required
