Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Tech to interpret instructions, prepare patients, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.

Requirements include ARRT certification, MRI credentials, BLS, and 2 years of experience. On-site role with 12-hour shifts and on-call availability in Lee's Summit, MO.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified radiologic technologist with MRI credentials.
• Active state licensure and ARRT MR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years MRI tech experience, with travel-friendly readiness.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician instructions and acquire diagnostic MRI images.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures and manage contrast.
• Operate GE/Philips MRI scanners and ensure patient safety.

Job description

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• ARRT MR certification
• ARRT R certification
• 1 year of MRI Tech experience
• Experience with GE and Philips equipment
• Experience in adult acute care, adult ICU, and adult outpatient settings
• Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Experience starting peripheral IVs
• Experience with spinal trauma studies
• Shift hours: 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM.
• Schedule: 2x12-hour shifts.
• On-call required.
