Job summary

Three Crosses Regional Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform exams independently under radiology supervision and to uphold patient-centered care. The role requires ARRT CT certification, NM MIRTP licensure, and strong ability to work under stress.

Responsibilities include staff oversight, scheduling, hiring and orientation, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures. A 2-year radiology experience and an accredited radiology program are required.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of radiology experience.
  • Associate degree from an accredited radiology program.
  • ARRT (R)(CT) registered.
  • NM MIRTP licensure required.
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Manager with oversight of imaging staff and PACS; evaluate image quality and provide technical assistance.
  • Provide daily staff assignments and monitor workload.
  • Assist with hiring and orientation of staff.
  • Schedule staff to meet productivity goals and adhere to protocols.
  • Oversee department flow to ensure timely performance.
  • Ensure hospital policies are consistently implemented by employees.
  • Set clear performance expectations and hold staff accountable.
  • Attend staff meetings as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
