HTU in Springfield, MA is seeking an MRI technologist to operate MRI scanners, screen patients, and ensure high-quality imaging. You will explain procedures to patients and families, administer contrast, and evaluate results for accuracy.

Requirements include ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology training, a Bachelor's in Radiology preferred, and MR certification within one year of hire. One year of MRI experience or MRI training with registry eligibility is expected.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Operate MRI scanner(s) following all MRI safety guidelines and zones.
• Interview and screen patients for exam appropriateness and document patient history accurately.
• Explain MRI procedures to patients and families to ensure successful exams.
• Administer intravenous contrast media appropriately.
• Evaluate images for quality and diagnostic accuracy.

About You

The company is looking for candidates with:

• Graduation from an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program (required).
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Radiology.
• Certification in ARRT MR (must be obtained within one year of hire).
• At least 1 year of dedicated MRI experience or graduation from an approved MRI training program and registry eligibility.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of current MR technical information.
• Proficiency with computers and computer systems.
• Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $6,000 sign-on bonus.
• Up to 40 hours of front-loaded paid time off.
