Job description

Shift : Day / eve variable, including night shifts from 1800-0600

Experience : Minimum 5 years of recent MRI experience

License : ARRT (MR) certification

Certifications : Active BLS (must be American Heart Association)

Must-Have :

• Proficiency in Neuro, MSK, and abdominal imaging
• Experience with adult and pediatric studies
• Experience with GE Architect and SECTRA PACS system

Job Description :

• Perform MRI studies for outpatients, inpatients, critical care, emergency room, and pediatric patients on all body parts.
• Operate and manage different MRI equipment, including GE Explorer Lift 24.0 OS 1.5T, GE Architect 26.0 OS 3.0T, and Siemens Espree 1.5T.
• Utilize SECTRA PACS system and VRAD night service along with EPIC electronic charting.
• Work independently during night shifts, especially from 2300-0600.
• Attend a comprehensive orientation of 3 day shifts followed by 2-3 night shifts as needed.
• Work is scheduled as a mix of 8 and 12-hour shifts with no weekends unless on call.
• Call duty may be assigned as needed, with a requirement to work day, evening, and night shifts, along with possible weekdays and weekends, especially during night shifts.
• Hospital is a 425-bed, Level Two Trauma Center with Stroke Certification.

Candidates must be reliable and capable of working independently, floating to other units is not required as the work is MRI-specific. Compliance with the hospital's dress code of grey scrubs is required.
