Job summary

Atrium Health Lake Norman is seeking an MRI Technologist I to operate MRI scanners and support staff in a 40-hour work week. You will follow department protocols, prepare patients, verify orders with Radiology, and assist with IV contrast administration. On-call and holiday rotation apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an institution with MRI technology program.
• ARRT MRI registry eligible within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with Radiologist before performing exam.
• Identify patient correctly and explain procedures.
• Prepare patients and document history and consent.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and monitor patient.
• Operate MRI scanner and related equipment; ensure safety.
