Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, apply pulsed RF and magnetic energy, and provide patient care in Grand Rapids. External hires may receive a sign-on bonus up to $20,000. The role requires ARRT/ARDMS certifications and related qualifications.

Primary location is Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, with night shift 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Weekends may be required. Comprehensive benefits and a collaborative hospital environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field.
• CRT-MRI Technologist (MRI) - ARRT or ARMRIT - Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Radiation Therapist - ARRT - Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT - Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT or ARDMS - Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB - Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS - Upon Hire required.
• CRT-MS K - ARDMS - Upon Hire required.
• 2 yrs required for MRI-specific CRTs.

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services, applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs MRI procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
