Job summary

Intermountain Health's MRI team is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging at Intermountain Medical Center, collaborating with radiologists and care teams to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care.

The role requires ARRT MR, ARMRIT, and ARRT R cross‑training in MRI, plus BLS and IV competency. Expect a 40-hour rotating schedule with a sign-on bonus available up to $5,000 and relocation assistance for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification

• BLS certification for healthcare providers
• IV competency within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems while maintaining accurate patient documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, caregivers, and support staff to deliver excellent patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
