Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring an MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams on inpatients, outpatients and ER patients using a high-field scanner. A $10,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance are available for eligible external hires who meet qualifications.

The role requires AMA-approved MRI training, ARRT MRI certification or ARRT Radiography certification with MRI eligibility, and BLS within 30 days of hire, plus 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an AMA approved training program in a qualified diagnostic imaging modality.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT or
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - ARRT.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year experience in diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures on inpatient, outpatient and ER patients using a high field MRI scanner.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Coordinates with radiologists and clinical staff to complete exams.
