Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures on inpatient, outpatient and ER patients using a high-field scanner and related equipment.

A $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires and relocation assistance are available for qualified candidates, with required AM A approved training and ARRT certifications within one year of hire. 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• AMA approved MRI training program completion required.
• Within 1 year of hire: NRMT-MRI (ARRT) or ARRT-MMRI equivalent.
• Within 1 year of hire: ARRT Radiography (R) credential.
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures on inpatient, outpatient and ER patients using a high-field MRI scanner and related equipment.
• Maintain patient safety, positioning and comfort during imaging.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure accurate, high-quality images and timely reporting.

National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (NRMT-MRI)

National Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT
