Qualifications

• Proficient in operating MRI equipment with a focus on patient safety.
• Ability to review patient history and physician orders to tailor protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MRI technology and safety standards.
• Experience with contrast administration as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in operating MRI equipment and stay updated on advancements.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and follow universal protocols.
• Review patient history and orders to tailor scans.
• Administer contrast agents as needed and document history.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate imaging.
• Code and track exams in RIS and archive images via ISITE.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure MR safety compliance and a safe environment.
