Job summary

HSHS St. Mary's Decatur Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our Imaging team in Decatur, IL. The role requires accurate patient positioning, operation of MRI equipment, and producing high-quality images for interpretation.

New graduates are encouraged to apply; MRI Tech I/II levels considered based on experience and qualifications. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, primarily evening shifts with every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate in radiologic/radiography field required.
• 1 year radiology experience preferred.
• BLS required; MR certification/registration preferred if possible; MR certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and position patients for imaging.
• Follow physician orders and ensure high-quality images for interpretation.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in the imaging suite.
