Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners, follow physician orders, and accurately capture diagnostic images. You will position patients, ensure safety and recordkeeping, while upholding the organization's mission and values in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiology technology program, ARRT MRI certification or eligibility within one year, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Two+ years MRI technologist experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas clearly.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy (head, thorax, abdomen).
• Must read, write and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and capture required diagnostic images as ordered by physician.
• Closely follow physicians' instructions and prepare equipment accordingly.
• Position patients correctly for imaging and ensure comfort and safety.
• Record and document images and patient data as required.
• Demonstrate North Memorial Health's mission, values and guiding principles in daily work.
