Job summary

Geisinger in Pennsylvania seeks an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures including neuro, body, and extremity imaging per radiologist protocols. You will position patients, explain exams, and protect patient safety in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications include ARRT, NMTCB or ARMRIT certifications; ARRT-R/ARRT-MR accepted for new grads prior to first day. A sign-on bonus up to $25,000 is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• NMTCB or ARMRIT certification (required)
• New grads must obtain ARRT-R or ARRT-MR/NMTCB/ARMRIT before start
• Applicants hired after 2024-03-10 must advance to level 2 within 24 months

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures including neuro, body, and extremity per Radiologist protocols
• Position and prepare patients; explain exams and answer questions
• Ensure patient and staff safety per MRI standards
• Enter data into Radiology Information System/IDX and PACS
• Perform quality control and report equipment issues
• Support physicians and coordinate imaging workflow
