Wellstar Douglas in Douglasville, Georgia is seeking a FT Registered MRI Tech. The position offers a sign-on bonus and potential relocation assistance, with a Thursday-Sunday or alternative weekend schedule.

This role emphasizes patient care, image quality, and collaboration within a busy MRI department. Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited MRI program or ARRT-MRI, BLS, and at least 1 year of MRI experience, and will participate in ongoing education and Wellstar's CareerCare

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R.
• Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical MRI setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete clinical history and assess contraindications.
• Administer contrast media following safety procedures.
• Verify patient identity and ensure privacy and comfort.
• Operate MRI equipment and optimize image quality.
• Prepare and position patients; assist with procedures as needed.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
