Job summary

The Corvallis Clinic, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is hiring an MRI Technologist to operate the MRI scanner and image exams in the Corvallis area. Responsibilities include selecting imaging techniques, maintaining safety, data entry, training staff, and staying current with MRI protocols.

The pay includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates, with a full benefits package. Qualified candidates will have ARMRIT or ARRT-MRI eligibility, an Oregon MRI license, BLS, and 2+ years in

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT-MRI eligible.
• Oregon MRI license issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• 2+ years in Radiology Department with MRI technologist role.
• Thorough knowledge of anatomy, positioning and MRI protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic images.
• Select imaging techniques via console and peripherals.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Enter and monitor patient data.
• Image exams to accurately demonstrate anatomy.
• Train MRI staff and support staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MRI procedures.
